Premiere Of Dimension Films' "Scary Movie 5" - Red Carpet

Though a lot of people assumed Ashley Tisdale busted on the scene with High School Musical, the fact is she had been working closely with Disney a few prior to that. Though growing up in the spot light must be a surreal experience, Ashley Tisdale has almost made the transition look effortless. Though we all know she can sing and act, here are five things you didn’t know about Ashley Tisdale.

She Is Gonna Be 30 This Time Next Year

Yup, makes you feel kinda old, doesn’t it. The girl we watched growing up on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is about to be 30 years old herself.  She has grown quite gracefully, we must admit. Whereas it seems most Disney stars take a rather public downward dive, Ashley Tisdale has avoided such Hollywood pratfalls, to her credit.

Loves Voice Acting

Maybe most of her die-hard fans will know this already, but Ashley provides the voice of Candace Flynn on the Disney channel cartoon series, Phineas and Ferb. She loves voice acting, and sites her musical ability as being a big help when it comes to making up voices and voice acting in the booth. Makes us wonder when Disney will finally snatch her up to sing as an one of their animated princess’. You never know, could happen.

Shedding Child Hood Image (Yet With Respect)

Where as usually when teen stars feel the need to break away from their shiny, clean, child hood image, they tend to go a little extreme. Maybe do some things that will land them in jail or on probation. Not Tisdale, though. Ashley is not one of those kind of people. She has done some edgier roles, but all while managing to still respect herself and portray herself as a graceful woman. A lot of young Hollywood could learn from her lead.

Won MTV Movie Award

A mere five years ago in 2009 Ashley Tisdale snatched up the Breakthrough Female Performance on the MTV Movie Awards for her role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. She seemed humble and sweet when accepting the award, which goes further to show why she deserves it. Keep in mind, that is but one of the many award the young star has won for her various High School Musical films.

She Is Just Getting Started

We may all think we have young Hollywood pinned, but the game has changed. Now, with social media presence being as important as anything else, we are silly to assume we have seen the best and brightest of what this young starlet has planned for her career trajectory. She can sing with the best of them, dance like a superstar, and has quite the gift for acting. Perhaps Broadway is in her future? Perhaps more pop radio? Maybe she will veer into more dramatic film choices? Who are we to assume?
